Turkish Airlines 777 New Business Class

File Description: This Boeing 777-3F2 (ER) was delivered to Turkish Airlines in October 2010 and is named Dolmabahce. This is the first. Turkish Airlines offers 49 lie flat seats in business class onboard its 777-300ERs. Spanning seven rows, each row has seven seats in a 2-3-2 configuration. Although the thought of a middle seat in business class seems so outmoded in 2021, one thing I love about the Turkish Airlines business class seat is that your feet are not constrained. Turkish Airlines is a top-20 airline, but few people I know fly it. Somewhat notoriously, Turkish's 777-300ERs have middle seats even in business class, which The Points Guy's Zach Honig. Turkish operates two versions of the 777-300ER; fortunately, I ended up with the newer of the two, which meant more modern finishes and a higher-end in-flight entertainment system.

This week, we have a Turkish Airlines Boeing 777-300ER at New York-JFK airport, as it is prepared for the return journey back from JFK to Istanbul.

Turkish Airlines operate a fleet of 33 Boeing 777-300ER. The airline also operates the Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 787-9 it is long haul fleet, with the airline using Airbus and Boeing narrow-body aircraft in its short to mid-haul fleet.

This aircraft – TC-LJF – joined the Turkish Airlines fleet in March 2016. It has flown for the airline since then, with the aircraft in active service. It is configured in a two-class configuration with 49 Business Class seats and 300 Economy Class Seats.
